Today’s topic is all about increasing productivity through effective team collaboration.

Chances are, your team may or may not be on the same page on a consistent level. You feel like your existing team is duplicating their efforts in some way, shape, or form and you’re tired of putting out petty fires. If any of that relates to where you’re at in the way that you handle your team or the way that you’re engaging with your team, this episode is for you.

In this episode, I discussed the following:

  1. What has to happen before your employees can fully engage, connect, collaborate, and so on.
  2. The difference between a lackluster team and a high performing team. (There’s a couple of things that you’ll want to keep in mind.)
  3. How to set your team up for long term success.
  4. Ideas on how you can take this information to the next level or on a deeper level.

Your team needs you to be the leader that you know you’re meant to be. So if that means that it’s going to take you some time to implement some of these strategies for yourself and develop your leadership skills to make you a stronger leader, by all means, take that initiative to step up and do what your you need to do in order to develop your leadership skills so you can inspire your team around you to step it up a notch as well.

Today’s Resource:

This resource, 12 ways to be more productive and purposeful in your work, will help you continue the conversation and to dive a little deeper into the topics covered today.

This resource is broken down into six different ways to be more productive and six ways to be more purposeful that work together. These are things that you can do as a leader and you can encourage your team members to also get on board with some of these principles as well.
